Ingredients: 2 C. Bisquick; 1/2 C. sugar (divided); 1-1/4 tsp. cinnamon; 1/2 C. applesauce; 1/4 C. milk; 1 egg, beaten; 2 T. oil; 2 T. butter, melted
Preparation: Combine Bisquick, 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Add next 4 ingredients and beat well for 30 seconds. Grease muffin pans and fill to 2/3 level. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool slightly. Combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Dip tops of baked muffins into melted butter; then into the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
